Blogger

One of the programs I used is Blogger. A free internet blog website that aloned me to post all my development and final work. however I thought there was some draw back by using blogger, at first I didnt know how to use Blogger but I picked it up quite quickly. Though I had some problems with the program as it crashed severel times as I was working making me lose my work and having to start again; also as its a free website it is limited as what I could achiveve. Even though there where programs i have manged to use Blogger and understanding the use of it.

Flickr is a another free website in which I could upload images and analysis them using there tools on the site. I thought this program is very useful as I could upload an image easily and than highlight the parts I am talking about. the only downside is again this website is limited though this didnt effect me. I think this program was an good tool to use to analysis images, magazine covers, content page and double sprend pages.

This program was useful when I showing my developlments for my magazine. To use it I first made a powerpoint of my developments on Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2010 than uploaded it to Slideshare. Slideshare aloned the images to be viewed easiler instead of timed powerpoint the views can see an image as long as they want. This program also makes it easiler to upload my work to Blogger. only problem was the limited use as I was using a free membership limiting the work I can upload though again this didnt effect me. I thought this program help alot and I could use it again in the future.
The main program I used was Photoshop to produces a finished magazine. I thought Photoshop was one of the best programs I've used. I could edit images and typography and do so many effetcts to them. Photoshop is really good to make a magazine i found it easy to use and understand however if your new to photoshop I can take time to understand it. I've used Photoshop before hand though I still learnt for it, I used lots of different tools each as 'burn and dodge tool' to get right light on the my models faces. The 'wand tool' was very useful to cut the main image from the background. For me there nothing wrong with Photoshop, only problem I came across was the size of the Photoshop files where, as working in college my disc space is limited which made it diffecult as I had to delete previous work.
