Institutions

I believe that a media institution such as Bauer would be best to distribute for my magazine as they already distribute magazines such as "Kerrang","Q" and more. However there is a gap in market as my magazine is aimed at young people like students. As well they distributes well known music magazine s means they can help publish my magazine and have the necessary experience and royal consumers  who might be interested in a new branch of music magazine.

Addressing My Audience

My magazine speaks in the language of my target audience by using modern words and slag in which my audience will understand. For my title i believe this word to be a modern day word in wish my magazine going to be based on modern music of Pop and Rnb. For some of my coverlines I used a angle tool on photoshop to achieve an cool stylish effect. I think my audience will want to buy my magazine as its a new modern magazine that listens to the readers feedbacks and understands what they want to read about. The front cover connects with the reader by the gaze of the model, she uses eye-contact to connect with the reader. I believe my selling point is the image of the front cover of the artist and the exclusive interview.

From this information I see there a young audience age 16 to 20 of both genres that would be interested in a music magazine that comes out mouthy for the price of 1.99 with an image of an artist featured in the magazine on its cover. The genre that my magazine will be mainly aiming at is pop however as the ‘Rnb’ is as popular that will also be featured in my magazine. 

This questionnaire has changed my original idea though the age group is the same the magazine idea will be different.  

Forms and Conventions

I choose the title 'Vista' as I thought it was a more modern word as its been used in computer software such as 'Microsoft Vista'. Also means disant view in this case in the music. As it has a field of vision in music.

I chose my font cover image as I thought the model engaged the reader as she is looking at the camera therefore the reader to. her props is stylish and relaxed, also seeing the title is behind her shows she important in this issue and in herself. the dress thought went very well with the topic as wish she is featured in.

The coverlines don't cover the main image. I put some of the coverlines at a bit angle more a stylish effect and mixed the colours of red white and black. I had the artists names in red and the topic or some information about the artist in white. one coverline goes over apart of the model as that is the main cover story. 

The contents page layout is with main article at the front of the magazine with other exclusive articles or popular artists and new following it. Regular contents are after the main stories and news as I believe the exclusive information is more important therefore should be at the front of the magazine. I chose to another image of the model on the front cover in a different shot to show that this issues main article is about her. Also I image of another artist as its important to have selection of different images and of different models.   

The double page spread layout is of a large image of an artist of with is on the front cover. with pull quote drawing the reader in to continue reading. The title of this article is large with two main words with meaning in upper case with the interview under in gutters which is how most articles are written out. Each knew gutter starts with a dropcap. I also thought having the title of the magazine up the conner with the website above it to show this exclusive information came form this magazine.
